The first thing i noticed about this movie was that it is amazingly awesome that it is done as a cartoon stencil look instead of actually showing the real people. It put a certain edge on the film and kept me interested. I think that the people who made the movie decided to make it a cartoon film because they could input symbols to help describe what each person was talking about to the dreaming boy.
This film also made me think a lot about the points of view that each person was making, for example, the lady who was telling the boy that after you die you are in a constant dream state but out of life.
The final person that the boy talked to at the arcade was the man who the boy talked to about how he is trapped in his dream and he can’t get out, and he wants to get out, and the man was telling him
“Time is actually just this constant saying ‘No’ to God’s invitation” and more interesting stuff like that.
overall, i really enjoyed this film and the messages it gave off.
Poster project “climate for change”
i chose to combine a highway of cars picture, a picture of city buildings, and a picture of unhealthy trees for my project because i feel that pollution from car exhaust plays a great deal on hurting the environment.
